Many difficulties to burn, no problem to read. Upgraded the firmware to 1.5g (latest), then was able to write, but cannot rewrite (calibration errors). Cannot even erase

Difficult to burn with my LiteOn 401S (whatever the firmware, whatever the speed - 2.4x or 4x), hard to read once burnt on PCs and standalone DVD players.
Actually, I don't recommend at all!

Media is not even recognised (and will not work at all) in DVD burner, whatever software is used. DVD burner used is SONY DW-U50A which comes with SOny Vaio laptops.

After I tried An Imation DVD+RW, wich burnt ok, and played good in PC. but didn't play in stanalone DVD-player Cyberhome ADL-528, I tried a Philips DVD+RW. EVen my burner had trouble recognizing the DVD, but eventually burnt it ok. But it didn't play well on the PC. And it didn't play at all on the DVD standalone.
