Authoring/Burning comments:
I usually use Disk Utility.app, authoring with DVD2ONEX2. I use Apple computers, not "PC" These play well in external DVD players as well. My Pioneer DV-490V has flashed firmware, not sure which, so it plays all formats, all regions.
Works fine on Pioneer DV-490V
