Technically it's shrink wrapped but untechnically it comes in a cardboard cakebox. Not plastic. Good reason why. The cake box is way too large for the disks. Got alot of does in it. and alot of the media is dirty. Given the chance on an environmentally pro product, this one doesn't cut it. Although at least the media isn't from China.
