Really good media. Lowwer PI error levels than other media. Would have to say go gigastorage. Went through a whole mess. Best to start out on. Like the clean surface as well. Nice area to scrible onto. Tried other "quailty media." Will be ordering another stack of these asap.

First 5 or so disks off the top burned fine and played on my DVD player without a hitch. Then the nightmare began. I have now gone through 20 of the 50 disks on the spindle and have a very nice set of coasters and 6 usable DVD's. The data is all there and intact, and they all play just fine on my PC, but will not play on any of the three DVD players we have in the house. Recommend for data storage only.

DivXtoDVD, then burned with DVDCopy and/or Alcohol. Same result with both.

This media got really good reviews on Newegg so I gave it a try. On my first burn attempt, my DVD burner had problems with this media. I had to update the firmware to 1.0b then it burned just fine. I used InterVideo DVDCopy 2 & AnyDVD to make a backup of the movie HERO with Jet Li. It played great on my computer, but when I tried to play it on my Apex AD-703 it couldn't read the disc. After a few attempts the Apex was able to play the FBI warning screen but it would freeze. I tried with another movie and the same thing happened.

My Apex may be a cheap brand player but normally it can play everything you throw at it. The price is good ($15), but from now on I'll just pay a few more dollars and get Ridata or Sony.

7 coasters out of 50, would not burn at 4x before or after firmware upgrade (1031 to 1033) with Toshiba SD-R5112. I will not buy these again.
