Works fine with max speed of x8. I will try to custumize the firmware of my drive to test burning at higher speed.

it claims to be 8x but it not faster than 4x.it sometimes fails.after the recording process it is hardly opened under windows.when watching dvd you have to wait for several minutes to open just keep away !
