very meh overall
I ordered thinking I would get some reliable Verbatim, but got this Chinese junk at Verbatim prices.
I am extremely angry Verbatim is putting out more stuff that is garbage with their logo on it.

between this and me having more dependable burns on cheap crap BDRs than their BDRs (4 different media codes so far, worst being the LTH) that cost 2-3 times more, I have lost faith in Verbatim as a whole. spend more... get less.

I paid $25 + s/h

For awhile I was able to get the OEM Verbatim 100 packs from Microcenter (MCC-003), very good media and sadly much cheaper :/ what gives? logo packaging wrapper in place of good media? crappy exchange.

these discs even feel much lighter weight, and rougher at the edges. the die looks spotty and inconsistent, and i am scared to even think it but die looks like at the edges it is prime for rot :( having a lot of bad die/coating issues on many discs.

most of my burners won't give me the speeds i set them to no matter what. Even if ImgBurn says it will burn at 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, etc, My set speed is never acknowledged and it gets overridden, usually much faster than i like to burn my media at. I usually use 4x or at most 8x, but many times these were hammered out at 12x or even 16x (set write speed fail in ImgBurn)

Additional information:

Price: $30 Purchased from: Microcenter Date purchased: March 0000
Burnt with Sony DRU-540A using firmware 1.0b.

Authoring/Burning comments:
I purchased these in end of March/ beg of May 2011 (drop down won't let me pick 2011? it is already 1/4 of the way into the year...)

I also (mostly) use an LG BD burner i cannot find in this list:
HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH10LS30
please update the drop down, since i did probably 350 of 400 discs on this BD-RE (DVD, etc) burner

rather ineffective to put the burner i use less often.

I do also use some other burners (2 on another PC, but those aren't handy atm)

i always use ImgBurn for burning these days
various other tools used ranging from just AnyDVD for a direct back up, or if it was a custom job, many many tools were involved.

Works fine on Samsung BD-C6500
