Beware if using on NEC ND1300A
I bought Twenty 5 Packs ( 5 pack sticker says: DVD-47A5S and jewel case says: DVD-47A) of these after seeing they were Ritek G04 disc's and burned at 4x. The ones that work do burn at 4x on the NEC burner and play well. Unfortunately out of 20 disc's 5 of them are not recognized by the NEC burner. So they do not burn at any X. I do not know if this an NEC or a TDK problem but I see TDK does not appear to make their own disc's and packages just about anyone's disc ... good or bad quality... under their name. Read all the TDK media reports and you wil see its pretty much a crapshoot what you will get.

Bought this 5 pack while I was waiting bulk order of DVD-R in the mail. Plan to try burning at 4x since DVDInfo indicates it is possible (even though they are labeled 2x) Also, second byte of my media code is 6C instead of 42. Not sure if this means anything.

I bought two 15pks of DVD-R from CompUSA. The first pack was great, no problems, TDKG02. The second pack, every disk had and extremely high error rate and would not play on must DVD players, RITEKG04.

I downloaded DVDInfoPro which indicated that all the RITEKG04 burns had error rates which began at about 35 minutes into the movie and continues until the end. The high error rates indicated that 50% of the disk was bad beyond the 35 minute mark.

Black dots and streaks were clearly visible on the burn surfaces, across the entire disk, on all the burns, of all the RITEKG04 media.

I reported this to TDK there were extremely slow to respond, and they still haven't replace my media. I don't think they understand the time it takes to burn and the fact that I have lost data that I can not replace.
