Sucks. Don't be fooled how these discs are marketed. I really doubt Pioneer recommends these discs for any of their recorders. If you have a A06 or A07, try a few Princo 4x if you want cheap discs.

Upgraded from 106D to 107D and found that the PIODATA disks won't burn on 107D, gives a hardware error. BTW the first 100 PIODATA's I bought worked great with my 106 drive, the last spindle was junk, maybe 1 in 3 would work.

These discs stink! I assumed these were similar discs to the sample disc that came with the Pioneer drives, boy was I wrong! I've burned 5 so far and 2 were bad. Stay away from these at all costs. If your stuck with them, use them to burn small things (Under 4 gig) like the other person says, the outer edge is rough.

Half of the discs have read errrors at outer perimeter of disc. Edges of discs are rough and give strange reflectivity at outer edge. Works fine for movies under 4 Gb. Will see how they hold up.
I do not recommend this media for 4.0+ backups.

This media is crap. First, it doesn't burn at 4X like they advertised, it only burns at 2X and even at that speed it fails sometimes. It is advertised as Pioneer OEM and this media is not made by Pioneer, it is made by one of the worst Taiwanese media manufacturers, Lead Data. Save your money and buy Ritek and if you can afford, original Pioneer media. Avoid this media like the pest.

Media would only burn at 2x on my Sony DRU-500AX, and had trouble playing back on several DVD players (usually older ones), including Sony DVP-S500D, but would play on Sony DVP-NS715P. Nero 5 & 6 report 4x available, but only burns at 2x. 6 out of 25 were unusable.
