On my 3rd spindle of 50 bought at $9.99 at CC.
Haven't had a single coaster.
Used 3 different burners and 2 different players with 0 problems.
Beautiful PQ, works perfectly on Mac PowerBook SuperDrive and Dell Desktop and PS2 Slim as well.
Very happy with these discs at this price.

Having great results with these disc's. No coasters
yet. I bought these before Christmas at Circuit City
for $5.99 per 25 disc spindle. My burner likes them
so much it will burn at 12X and no problems. I run a
surface scan and transfer test with Nero and have zero
errors. I am pleasantly surprised.

These are CMC MAG. AE1 Media Code blank DVDs...The same media code that are found on much more expensive brand such as HP, Imation, Iomega , Philips, Ricoh, KHypermedia and Memorex ....Great Value for most users and can be expected to work very well on most DVD Burners and DVD Players...Quality is better than average...However, NOT "A" grade media....There is only one I consider truly "A" grade and that is TAIYO YUDEN (Made in Japan) dvd media...So far that the best media money can buy :=p

DVDs work on new Slim version of PS2 but the thicker older versions, it doesnt, which is probably common for most burnt media and those versions. I have had no problems with discs, no failed burns, and plays on all DVD players I have tried it on. For $6 (50), You cant beat that deal @ CC.

Could not burn at 8x, the burning speed was unstable. Speed keeping droping and rising form 8x-1.1x .The stable speed for me was 4x. Several time when I burned at 4x it took 22 minutes to finish. There were some rings on the dvd-r when finsih burning. Recommend to stay away from these disc. Disc was cheap for the price but the quality of it, its not worth it.

This DVD-R (& DVD+R) sucks. burned DVD movie plays good on my PC, my Panasonic CV51 unable to recognize (forget about playing)..... I am returning these discks and going for Memorex which worked fine before.
Cheap price does not bring quality, never.

I read the other comments about nexxtech and thought it was a worth a try. it was a bad try. the dvds will be returned. here is why: 1). thereis no warranty given on any packaging labeling. i had to contact nexttech. they stated their warrantyis only 30 days. some of their other dvds are one year. (do their warranties vary due to varying quality?). 2). there is sporadic quality. some of the dvds inthe pack experienced write errors. f i dont burn all in one month it will be beyond the warranty period. 3). even though the code of CMC-mag-AE1 for me has worked on other media (kyhpermedia), on this brand, the same code experiences write errros. 4). my burn errors occurred at 2x, siginficantly less than the one respondent who reported no burn errors if it was less than 8x.

The "NexxTech" name is not a very well knowen name amongst the populus. And I am not sure why? Because I have found it to be a very good and reliable media. It is my top choise not only in quality but also in affordability and reliability.

The media code for this Nexxtech -R 8x DVD media is the exact same as that of ESA -R 8x DVD.
Also the same manufacturer:

Doesn't do well on Pioneer A07 at 8x... but works like a champ from 2x-4x! Have used well over 500 same media code ESAs, which matches this media code... am still testing these Nexxtechs. Only 2 coasters because of burn speed being 8x in a 14 burner rack tower. At 4x... working excellent.

on 14 burner rack tower: Wytron controller card & Liteon 812 SOHW... DVD is spun up really fast and burns excellent at 4x. Errors occured at 8x, but not burning from installed hard drive, was using a master DVD. Which may have been the cause of errors at 8x (read/write from disc instead of HD).
