Bought these from Newegg. Wanted to buy more name brand but these were so cheap... for a reason. I've had so many bad DVDs so far, especially errors on the outside, that I'm throwing away the whole lot. It's taking too long for one good disc by burning and scanning each one usualy for 5 bad ones before a good one. My DVD burner may be a little too picky as well. No reports here about this burner - came in an Averatec 3200 model laptop - so I can't be for certain. A portable DVD player someone has has been able to play the media but will skip here and there towards the end of movies.

5 coasters out of 100. Not bad considering how cheap they were from neweg.com.
DVDDecrypter will only burn @ 2x, but Roxio burns dvdshrink Image files @ 4x no problem. In fact, no coasters since I switched to Roxio for burning chores.

Friend got these off Newegg for something like $13, not realizing his burner could only do +R. Grabbed one for evaluation purposes. Decent PI/PO levels, a bit higher than my Ritek G03's.

Not too bad. GSC002 media code. I was hoping for Sony media code, but no big deal. These were dirt cheap. They burn fine on my NEC 2510A. PI/PO error scans are acceptable. Definitely better than some CMC and Kypermedia's I've used. (crap) I just don't like the shiny silver tops. (they steal fingerprints). I guess some have matte finishes. But oh well they do the job. and for $20 a 50 pack, why not try em.
