Burned at 2X using Easy DVD6 on an Optorite DD0203 (Hival rebadge). Would not burn at any speed using Nero 5.5 no matter the speed. Worked great in my old Pioneer DV-525. A friend also had good success with Easy DVD6 at 2X.

this dvd-r media dose not play on the mintek 1600 dvd player. A dvd player know to play any thing you put in it. After putting in the dvd the dvd player starts the loading screen and never gets past that point. I see here that there are many dvd media that are said to play on this player and i will give some of them a try befor dumping this player.
