I'm stuck with an NEC ND-1000A which burns DVD+R only, so had to buy this unknown media in sheer desperation. It is reportecly manufactured by Euro Multivision Ltd. in Gujarat, India (www.euromultivision.com).

The burns have gone ok so far; 3 out of 4 discs were burnt successfully. On the one which failed, Nero refuses to close the session and the DVD is completly un-readable.

My lame drive also does not support PI/PO and media quality tests but 'Read Scans' have been 100% success immediatly after burns were complete.

No idea about the longetivity of the discs. Would like to hear from someone on this point.

Another thing is that I had problems burning many discs including some K-Hypermedia and pretty good quality Verbatim discs with Herrie.org's hacked firmwares. They caused many power calibration errors. 1e01 5 RPC Free firmware from http://etna.rpc1.org/nec/index.html has worked best for me so far.
