Before purchase a spindle of 50 dvd-r, I asked to prove some of them.
I got 5 Datawrite yellow 1x (with while logo) and worked great.
So I purchased 5o x1 Yellow (BUT with BLUE logo on the top): well, all were defective: after inserted on my DVD-R Panasonic DMR-E50, it didn't recognize it.
I tried with another and no worked again.
I asked for replacement to shop and he didn't want do it.
I contacted Datawrite factory (http://www.datawrite.co.uk), asking to know if, like any serious factory do, if they could provide to send me a new spindle if I could mail this defetctive dvd-r, but they never replied.
A TOTAL SUCKS COMPANY!!

dunno if this is the right place to put this but......
so far ive only had 3 out of 15 burn ok. I have a pioneer A06 dvd-+rw. I have tried record now, dvd xcopy express and nero 6 and have updated the firmware to 1.06. The drive always recognises them and seems to burn fine but playback on stand alones is some what to be desired. I dont think i will buy these again, anyone else having these probs?
