SHIT after just 7-8 months about 50 out of 75 have errors in them and don't play anymore.

even on standalone dvd players that state dvd-r compatible on the box.

stick to quality names like tdk, pioneer, sony, panasonic blank media especially if you have something of sentimental value (home video recordings,weddings etc...) burnt to them.

good playback at first, but don't expect it to last.

kind of like those disney disposible dvd's being tested in the usa !

Very compatable and at about £1 from my local supplier well worth the money. Burn at 2x in my Pioneer 104 and are work in Standalone players that find it difficult to play DVD-R's

I'm having problems burning Datawrite DVD-R. Tried 2x, 1x still write errors. Problem could also be The Sony DRU500A. sony DVD+R works fine.

Burns at 2 speed without any problems. Plays 100% ok in all 3 DVD players I have. No glitches, no stuttering, no skips no freezing. Seems to be a very good media to me for a good price.

problems with playback after 2x burn - lg5253 big problems after 2x burn, ps2 v7 good after 2x burn although some discs have some blocky glitches but excellent playback with 1x burn on both players.
