yup - the hack worked for me - although i thought it didnt firstly cos i was looking at the display on the player where the display on screen is where the hack appears.....one thing i have found so far is that pal discs do not seem to display through the dvi out (and it was a region 2 player to start with!!) - although i havent had time to really have a good play yet..... | |||

I hacked my hd935 (Region2) with the hack explained above and works fine with other regions disks. just one problem. BIG problem. the player doesn't read dvd-r disks no more. +rw disk seems to work. Any help/ideas how to get -r disks work? | |||

hmmm.....mine seems to be reading dvd-r's fine never had a problem - could be the type your're using i use anything with the G04 dye, theyve all worked fine so far.... | |||

i have noticed another problem - my player doesnt seem to be able to output a correct pal picture through the dvi port ntsc is fine but i get no picture on a 50" hitachi plasma and a picture which shifts to the left on a 30" LG lcd.....anyone else had the same problem....? | |||

Reset player to the factory default: Power on the player keeping pressed the Stop and Play on the front panel. After a few seconds a language selection screen will appear and the player is now resetted. Any region code should be re applied. Any HDCP bypass news? | |||
