I used the procedure and code suggested for the Pioneer DV-454, using the PDA (palm m505) with Omniremote, apparently it also works for the 350. I did not have any trouble at all, just copied the code into the memo pad and imported it to the Omniremote program and it worked at the first try!! | |||

Just applied the hack sent by Chris and seems it just worked, since it turned off on the first try. To the hell with the regions! Haven't tried yet with a different region disc, but to ensure I did the following test: To check it without dvd: Turn on the dvd, press "Setup" on remote, choose menu Initial Settings > Options. Press "Display" on your remote. Now there should be displayed: REGION _*: ROM VERSION 1.308_Adv Before I made my DV-250 codefree, there was displayed: REGION 1 ROM VERSION 1.308_Adv I bought my DVD at Walmart in USA for US$78! | |||

tried the hack with the pda, used a clie sj-30. worked great shows * for region code but still won't play my all regions from thailand. plays in black and white and a rolling screen. any ideas???? Barry | |||
