This DVD player is hackable with the 'standard' Philips hack. Set up the universal remote handset (One-For-All type thing) with code 0539. With the remote, send the 'RC6' code to the DVD player by pressing the following keys, in oredr: 'MAGIC' 085 When the dashes appear ('-----------'), enter the following code: 222 222 005 255 Then press 'PLAY' and the machine should reset itself and the display will read "no disc". Hello, For my Philips 743 I had to supply 5 digits instead 3 digits when entering the RC6 code. So: 'MAGIC' 00085 222 222 005 255 PLAY And One-for-All URC-8210 can also be used for this hack. | |||
