1. Plug LG DVD player (no disc in tray) in and turn on with REMOTE. 2. Wait for "NO DISC" message. 3. Press the open button on the remote. 4. Press the following sequence(using the REMOTE only) PAUSE, 3, 1,4, 1,5, 9 5. Wait for "CODE__" to appear. Enter 0 (all regions) then press PAUSE then press POWER. The unit should turn off leaving it region free, but be warned that it have trouble with Region 0 discs. If so just redo the above steps and at "CODE __" enter your region. Best of luck. | |||

Just got my 6235 Today, and it was set to Region 2. Went to this address http://lgregionfree.tripod.com/menu.htm Chose the 6000 Series File and followed these instructions to the letter. 6000 Series Region Set File. 1) Unzip the folders and files to the hard drive in exactly the same order. 2) Burn the folder "RMT000" (including sub files and/or folders) to a blank CDR 3) Make sure you set; 'close' disc and session 4) Make sure you burn the disc in ISO mode (not joliet) Insert the disc in the player and follow the screen instructions Chose region 0 for Region Free. Now my Blade 2 Region 1 disks work alongside all my Region 2 Dvds. | |||

This message applies to LG LH-C6230. To play a DVD zone 1 : 1) Insert the DVD. The message "Reading" appears on the DVD display. Then "Verification Code Regional" appears and nothing more. 2) Press "Disc Menu" on the Remote. Wait about 10 seconds. 3) Press "Play" on the Remote. The DVD zone 1 will be playing with the banner "Verification Code Regional". 4) Press "Display" on the Remote. The banner will disappear and all will be fine. | |||

It is not necessary to burn CDs for the LH D6230 follow these steps to remove Code restrictions. (Region 4 Player) 1 Remove DVD/CD and turn off player 2 Turn on and wait for 'No Disc' to appear, then press 'Pause' Enter 3,1,4,1,5,9, Code and your regiod number will appear 3 press 0 4 Press Pause Its ready to go | |||
