	I've got the LG 6033 (bought in Germany) region free using the hack posted by Panthro (for LG 6054/6188). http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=LG+6054 1. Download the file from: http://mypage.bluewin.ch/a-z/chaos-kitties/downloads/RMTM0000.sit (the file's 4kb big/small) 2. unpack the RMTM0000.sit file with "StuffIt Standard Edition 8.0" (http://www.aladdinsys.com/downloads/index.html http://tempest.aladdinsys.com/aladdin/downloads/win/STUFFITS.EXE) Trial version. 3. Burn the WHOLE DIR (RMTM0000/Scarlet/kpjc19_1.dvd !) to a CD (I used Adaptec CD Creator), ISO Level 1, Mode 1, ISO 9660! 4. Insert the burned CD into the dvd, wait for the menu on the LCD of the dvd. 5. Press "0" then "PAUSE", turn the dvd OFF 6. That's it !!!, REGION FREE.

	SVCD hack The (S)VCD hack for the LG6053 posted by C. C. ( http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=LG+6053 ) also works for the 6033: 1- Power up the dvd with no disc 2- Press pause and then pres 1 4 7 2 3- Press right arrow until appears on the display 07 60 (the characters 60 may be different, 07 are the most important!!!) 4- Hold pressed the 6 on the remote control until the 6 change to F 5- Press the right arrow once 6- Hold pressed the 5 on the remote control until the 0 change to E 7- Now in the display appears the number 07 FE (if don't repeat the sequence!!!) 8- Press pause 9- Turn off the player 10-Enjoy with your SVCD!!! PS: In the above Region Code hack, you have to remove the bracket to Download StuffIt ;o)

	VCD hack And C. PS: I forgot to mention that you can change the REGION CODE to whatever region you need by inserting the CD again, pressing the digit for the desired region (0-6), pause and switching the player off.

	NOTE: THESE HACKS ARE FOR THE 6043 MODEL. SINCE I CANNOT FIND A VALID URL FOR THIS, THIS MODEL DOES NOT EXISTS HERE AT THIS SITE. HOWEVER, THIS WORKS. SVCD Hack: Turn On with no disc. Wait until unit ready. Press PAUSE 1472. Navigate to the 7th position pressing the UP ARROW (the same u use to navigate the DVDs menus). Change the value to FE (press the remote 6, then 5 (wait some time till it shows up on the display). It should display 07 FE. Press OK. EXIT (see below). (do the VCD hack too). VCD Hack: Turn On with no disc. Wait until unit ready. Press PAUSE 1472. Navigate to the 4th position pressing the UP ARROW (the same u use to navigate the DVDs menus). Change the value to FE (press the remote 6, then 5 (wait some time till it shows up on the display). It should display 04 FE. Press OK. EXIT (see below). EXIT ---> press PAUSE. Turn OFF the player. Now TURN ON. Enjoy your VCDs and SVCDs. ;)

	For VCD or multiregion Boot player without any media once it displays "no disk" press pause then 1472. Eprom screen is displayed my code in UK was 55 53 00 DD 16 55 60 FF just change it to 55 33 00 FE 16 55 FE FF To do this move the curser with the volume buttons left or right to the number/letter you want to change. To get F press button 6 for a short while to get E press and hold 5. Once your code has been changed press pause button to exit then power the player off and then back on again. This works fine if your unsure just make a note of the eprom code when you start.
