Just like Surrea's post. I bought my player today April 9, 2003 and the hack works. Bought at Canadian Superstore. I am not sure if the Macrovision is also hacked. The picture is stable ( no fading in and out) but sometimes there appear to be thin red lines through the screen. I hope this helps. | |||

i purchased my 3818b unit a couple of days ago...i can not apply any of the hacks posted here....i simply cannot get into the hack menu....is this common .. in all cases as soon as i press setup...it remains in setup menu...no regions...or macrovision | |||
