CombiMovieNO LONGER DEVELOPED |
CombiMovie is freeware which can combine two or more mpg/mpeg files into a single continuous mpg file. It works very fast, almost as fast as copying the files itself! Suitable for digital camera or internet movies.

Decent interface and it *seemed* to work (the output file was about the right size), but upon playing it was obvious something screwed up - the first part was ~45 mins, but the final output showed ~34 mins in Media Player Classic (which I've NEVER had a problem with, so I doubt it was an incompatibility). Tried it twice just to be sure it wasn't a transitory foul-up and go the same result.

I couldnt get this to work on two mpeg streams .. it just wouldnt work .. no error messages, no explanation, no help file.. maybe it did work and its really really light speed .. but sorry, no, trying to combine two svcd mpeg streams and it just sat there.. like a dalek with the squid taken taken out. Who knows really??

Excellent tool - very easy to use for joining MPEG files. Works incredibly quickly - much faster than the TMPGEnc MPEG tool, and does not strip out the AC3 Audio, which TMPGEnc seems to.
