It's not a bad player. One of the downsides it it likes to attach itself to many of your file extensions (check common media file extensions via folder options tosee what I mean). If you want to download FLV player direct and avoid the optional freeware install options, get the executable here: http://dl8.iq8download.com/lm/products/applianflv/FLV Player 3.1.1.2 silent.exe

This version is great the new version are just copies of VLC. Does anyone know if version 2 has any later builds?

I give it a rating of 1 because I can't give it a zero. Honestly I could not test it because it simply refused to install - just the flv player WITHOUT jillion other junk stuff - although the UI indicated it as such. What is this? Some kind of a scam? If my memory serves me correctly - I do remember Applian Technologies from the times of my using Win CE 3.x on my Casio PDA, some 15 years ago. Seems like it has changed hands! I would much rather go with the Adobe version than this so called FREEWARE !!!!!!
