Eventually got around to spending time on video.NET, so much needed to be done, which I never had the time to do until now. I can't add a 'change-log' because it is internally a complete start from scratch re-write. So the 'video.NET' project is now alive and well again and I'll be making regular checks and updates to get it out of beta status.
video.NET uses the excellent 'handbrake' for its core routines of which I've designed the program to hopefully make usage a little more friendly, logical, and easier to understand.
There's still things left to do, video.NET is still in 'beta'. I have a few things left to add, more checks to do, like preventing various options (incompatible) from being chosen.
Oh and please remember, to save yourself time and effort, if you're using a BLU-RAY or DVD disc as input, 'rip' it first - good boy ;-).
* Convert video from most common formats.
* Output to the popular MKV and MP4(M4V) containers.
* Supports both file input and ripped disc (ISO) input.
* Converts video to H.264 AVC (x264 and Intel QSV).
* Supports multiple audio input formats.
* Can encode|output multiple audio tracks.
* Encode audio to AC3 and AAC or pass-through AC-3, DTS, DTS-HD, AAC and MP3 tracks.
* Can select titles from disc|iso input.
* Can select individual chapters to encode and include chapter markers.
* Supports both constant and variable frame-rate modes.
* Encode video using constant quality (CRF) or average bit-rate.
* Includes video filters: deinterlace|decomb|detelecine.
* Subtitles support: (PGS, VobSub, Closed Captions CEA-608, SSA, SRT).

video.NET would not be possible without handbrake. I use the 'HandBrakeCLI' simply because I love it, it's a very powerful, awesome program. HandBrake is made by the guys over at: http://handbrake.fr/ pay them a visit, their site has lots of information about HandBrake and they also have a great forum. But please bear in mind, they have their own GUI for HandBrake, it's usage and settings, profiles, presets e.t.c are not the same as video.NET, they have nothing to do with the video.NET GUI so any 'video.NET' questions over at the HandBrake site or forum would be inappropriate.
