2009-12-25 Moritz Bunkus * mkvextract: new feature: Added support for extracting Blu-Ray subtitles (CodecID "S_HDMV/PGS"). Sweet this is awesome as now can extract PGS subs from bluray .mkv rips created with makemkv. Gotta wait though for Mac OS X version hopefully coming out soon.

The latest version will not open in Mac OSX 10.5.8. Sticking with 2.3.0 for now. Great program though.

I manly us this to add English subs to Japanese TV shows and anime files. So much better than having to rencode the file.

I love this tool, I use it to remove unwanted Audio and Subtitle Tracks from videos all of the time :)! I also sometimes use it to join split videos, but that rarely ever happens, since I always look for non-split videos.

Fantastic. Joined two 4.5GB mkv files together seamlessly (no stutterers/chirps) in just over 6 minutes. Brilliant.

by far the best set of tools for MKV container extraction/rebuilding. Very simple and straight forward. The only downside is it doesn't include MKVExtractGUI

This thing just works! File after file. No bloopers. Blazing fast (2-3 minutes for a typical 4.5 BDRip). I'm using it to strip/add tracks from MKV files.

THe mkv extract works just great~! I can extract my mkv files into video, audio, and subtitles files for editting. It works really fast too. No long waiting time. Although doing batch file processing it's a bit more complicated since you need to create a .bat file and etc. but overall it's a great tool~! I like it~!
