I'd like to try this new release with DVDAuthorGui. Where's the Windows binary? afaics this is just Linux source with make files.
Couldn't get it to work with any capture/camcorder files I have -it kept on yelling about no location data and other things that don't bother other author programs.
The only dvd-authoring tool you need. Before you disagree, think of another tool that can author a DVD with:
- menus with audio and video in the background
- mixed aspect ratios, mixed NTSC and PAL
- multiple, correctly named soundtracks and subtitles
- non-standart source files (like SVCD video streams)
Now think of one that can do all of this for free.
For Windows, I am using it together with DVDauthorGUI. Unfortunately, it currently does not offer interface to the full functionality of dvdauthor.
i used dvdauthorGUI 0.4.5 to put a 2 cd svcd movie onto dvdr today and it worked really well.
are there any guides available for this proggy?
i am just wanting to put a basic menu to choose film/disc to play.
how can i do this?
