WMVMuxer |
This is a new muxer and encoder for the Windows Media Format. WMVMuxer comes with features not found in other WMV encoders, like AVI (WMV) to WMV conversion without reencoding, as needed for XBox 360 playback and access to the conversion graph. Import AVI files or AviSynth scripts and convert to WMV! Be sure to install the included HDTV Dump filter if you get problem starting WMVMuxer.

More information and other downloads: You might have to install the HDTV Dump Filter. It is included in WMVMuxer, extract the Filters folder and run the Register-HDTVDump.bat. does transcoding/muxing job until last frame, but then "hangs" and can't finish the file. I tried that with several different input files. Same result. It's a pitty, because the GUI looks clean and promising.

Fantastic Tool. The best WMV encoder I tried yet. Let's you import avi or Avisynth scripts with optional audio source. I encoded some of my HDV footage to 720/60p VC1, that looked great. My Tvix 4100 plays them and they look very nice on my HDTV. Great job!
