I only needed this program for one purpose: To convert 2 806MB mpeg-2 files to bin/cue files, so I could burn them in B.A.O. And it performed that task flawlessly. I did not try to load multiple files; that could, according to the first reviewer, make a difference. But for the purpose for which I needed this program, it did exactly what I wanted, and nothing that I didn't. Not every program needs to be loaded with bells and whistles. I give this little gem very high marks indeed.

This is the first GUI I have ever used for VCDImager and it is still stuck in the realm of VCDImager 0.6.x which is a generation ago (the 0.7.x versions massively overhauled VCDImager with the ability to produce menus, etc.). However, for what it does, this little proggy does it well, and it is small, quick and best of all, free! It is somewhat outdated, however, and there is a problem with trying to load multiple MPEG files... namely, you are left at the mercy of Windows Common Controls and simply selecting a number of files in order does not mean it will be loaded in that order! The functionality of the program is now covered in my own program (which I have to say was inspired by this one): GNU VCDImager Tools GUI.
