Addendum to my previous statement. It works with AVI and MP4 formats as well. One additional issue, it has an auto-correct time function which works great for videos shot in the same region as your PC settings, but other timezones will be time-shifted into the wrong hour. This can be manually corrected per video, but there's currently no way to set a specific timezone to correct to. Only Auto, Off or manual correction with version 8.25

Other than a bit of an language issue (the "save config" and "load config" currently do the opposite of the named function) it's a decent and cheaper alternative for to other Date/Time stamp programs. It states support for multiple digital formats, though I've only tested it with MOD and M2TS files. It burned in the correct information. It has multiple font options as well as several output formats for both NTSC and PAL. I do get a crash from it occasionally if i load too many clips at the same time. that's been my only issue so far after a week with the full version
