ShaPLAY is a Free DVD-AUDIO software player. It's a small application for playing DVD-AUDIO discs (MLP/PCM, watermarked/not watermarked) from generic AUDIO_TS folder or mounted ISO, based on DVDAExplorer (beta3 sources). Requires ffdshow and be sure to set the Uncompressed codec to all supported in the ffdshow audio configuration.

thank you ShaPLAY developer. the player is very nice, soft and (believe or not) run in Win2000. highly recommended as works perfectly, is free and don't need to install lots of things with very high MBs to work. don't stop your development, waiting for news. cheers!

ShaPLAY is the first dedicated, non-bloated, free DVD-Audio player ever seen. It works! But it still lacks some features which would be quite appreciated by the DVD-A enthusiasts --- a seeking bar, a linear volume control, and a simple playlist window would be nice. Also, it does not support ASIO or kernel streaming natively, and requires the help of ReClock for avoiding Windows's kmixer interference. Now that there is a DVD-Audio plugin for Foobar2000, it's probable that ShaPLAY will become «abandonware».
