Ok...first off let me tell anyone reading this for the first time: DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!!! I've been looking for a software that would allow me to easily edit the video from my Sony HandyCam HDD. This software is supurb!!! There is no installation, just download the zip file, uncompress and run the executable (How fantastic is that?) I just downloaded the software and have been using it for the past 15 minutes, so easy to use... I love it!!! Thank you so much to the developers of this tool... I will be coming back!!!

Killer product! And free. Saved me hours of work in about 5 minutes (reading the brief but effective text guide included) for extracting the good stuff out of a bad VOB a lot of other programs didn't even load. Good work!

Great program! A lot better than the hit-and-miss (and lost time) cut of beginning and ending scenes of recorded mpeg file with Ulead VS7 SE. The cut looks good on VS7 preview, but when the saved file is played back with MPClassic or VLC Player the cut is not clean with unwanted scenes included.

I'd had spent large amounts of time stuffing around with versions of WinDVD, PowerDVD, and Ulead VS7 just to try to edit some Australian digital TV recordings (MPEG2 video and AC3 audio) I had made to remove commercials, leading and trailing stuff. I knew the versions I had of these didn;'t support digital sound but support questions to find out what plug-in/patch/upgrade was needed have received little response. Finally I came upon this software and it just did exactly what I wanted, quickly, easily. It's a fabulous piece of work for trimming video!

A superb little app. Cut 75GB of cartoons in an afternoon. Love the ability to join mpeg's on the fly. I did end up with a couple of audio sync issues, and a few joins were rather rough. I'm thinking that I overlooked a few options that could have made it cleaner. On the whole, this is one sweet piece of software. The authors have really worked hard and it shows.

Wow, this app is fast and works well with HDTV resolution material as well as Standard Def mpegs. I wish the documentation was a little better. Absolutely recommended.

Very good program, no audio video issue for the moment. Very important thing- when you cut video files this program dont work reencoding

Tried Mpeg2Cut2 on a whim; got tired of dtv transport streams building up and the time needed to go from dtv -> dvd. So in order to save space wanted a tool to cut dtv streams directly. Mpeg2Cut2 works like a charm just pick the cut in and cut out section of the video and add it too the cut list; then save all cuts as one clip and in no time you have an edited transport stream without having to first demux the audio and video like you would have too with cutterman. No sync issues whatsoever and I've even had some success with 480p broadcast authored directly to DVD all without ever having to re-encode anything. The one annoying thing about this tools is the constant warning whenever you are about to create a clip greater than 1GB; other than that this tools is a GREAT alternative to commercial mpeg2 editors such as mpeg2vcr and videoredo.

Best and easiest tool for editing my PVR150 captured programs. Billion times better than the crappy nanopeg editor I got with my PVR150. Fast navigation within movies(upto 14 gigabytes in size), easy cut-list creation. Wish list: 1) Ability to see cutlist in list format. 2) Ability to save/load cutlist 3) Jump buttons in navigation toolbar to jump to nearest cut point. Anyway, a very good tool. PK

Wow. For free, and it looks like a keeper for me! I'm still having codec issues on my machine, but this app. may be what I've been looking for.
