This is the only Mac DVD authoring program I've found that lets you get around some of the limitations of iDVD without going to DVD Studio Pro. Most importantly, it lets you use existing MPEG2 files without re-encoding them (a big time-saver). MovieGate doesn't have a nice drag-and-drop interface like iDVD. It's all dialog boxes, and a little awkward, but well useable once you get the hang of it. It's also harder to make a nice-looking menu than with iDVD, but you can. The thing is, it's only $20, and if you have any need to make DVDs containing multiple tracks of stuff that's already in MPEG2, it's more than worth it. (Good for teachers putting together collections of clips to show in class...)
