You'll get info like codecs, bitrates, resolutions, metatags, encoded options, languages... and a VERY long etc; all the info that MediaInfo can provide you. In addition, you can export the information to text or HTML format and copy to the clipboard (text, HTML and BBcode). Consult the Screenshots section for further information MediaTab is completely freeware. It has GPL licenses (without limitations of use); just install it and enjoy :D. If you like the software and you want to thank the work, you can make a donation; even the smallest help will be hugely appreciated. MediaTab is available for Windows systems, from XP to lastest versions. It also supports both 32 bits and 64 bits versions. MediaTab is consistent with the language of your system automatically. Currently it includes English, Spanish and French. If you are interested in translating it into your language, feel free to contact the author! If you are a regular user of multimedia files like mp3, avi or DVDs you need this program. It's the final solution for finding why you cannot play a file (telling you the proper codec). And if you usually convert or encode files, MediTab will be your ally for testing the final quality (by dozens of useful parameters), or to ensure that it has the technical specifications that you were looking for.
