LongoMatch 0.16.9 released!

I'm happy to announce the release of LongoMatch 0.16.9!
This release includes a new video converter for video camera's files which
converts problematic files into a format that is more suitable for LongoMatch.
I have also included debug console, to help solve problems in windows and
I have fixed a bug in the multimedia backend that was preventing running
in systems without DirectX hardware acceleration support.
The features of this release are:

Added video converter for MPEG-TS files
Added debug console for Windows
Fixed support for systems wihtout DirectX hardware acceleration


LongoMatch 0.16.8 released!

I'm happy to announce a new bugfix release!
This release fixes and import performance issue affecting the H264 encoder on windows,
which was compiled without multithreading support. This will increase significantly the
speed of the video editor, exporting playlist much faster than before. Related to the encoders performances,
this release adds some speed preset to the vp8 and h264 encoders to make them faster for live capture.
A new translation has been added too, the turkish one, and some minor bugs have been fixed.
The features of this release are:

Fixed performance of the h264 encoder on windows adding multithreading support
Tweek encoders settings to increase speed for live encoding
Added turkish translation
Fixed players selection
Added support for a portable version
Set more realistic limits to players' weight and height



LongoMatch 0.16.5 released!

After a few months of innactivaty, working on the re-design of LongoMatch, I'm happy to announce
a minor release in the 0.16 series. This release include a Brazilian translations and a new timeline.
Categories are now listed in the left side of the timeline and the time scale is always visible and
doesn't hide anymore when scrolling.
The features of this release are:

* New timeline with categories listed in the left side and fixed time scale.


LongoMatch 0.16.4 released!

After a few failed candidates, we are happy to announce the fourth release of LongoMatch in the 0.16 series
This release is mainly focused in fixing some minor bugs discovered after the 0.16 release, but some
new features have been added. The team templates have been improved, adding more fields to the players description
and the option to select a subset of players for the analysis, which make it easier to handle teams with many
players where all of them don't play the match to analyse. The differents views can now be switched with
keyboard shortcuts and the player's framestepping can be controlled with the mouse. In this release, LongoMatch
has been translated to Dutch, Italian and Chinese!
The features of this release are:

* Added Dutch, Italian and Chinese translations
* Added date of birth, size, weight and nationality fields to players
* Add accelerators to switch the different views
* Allow framestepping using the mouse scroll
* Add a colors' selection button to the drawing tool
* Added player shortcuts in playlist mode
* Select players from the template pool and only show the one that are playing

We are happy to announce the release of LongoMatch 0.16!
LongoMatch finnaly supports live capture and analisys from DV cameras!
This was the most requested feature, and now you will be able to capture the game from
your DV camera and tag plays in real time, making all the process much faster.
This new version also brings support for Webm and VP8, the new free video codec from Google and
many usability improvements, such as 2 filter modes for the tags widget and multideletion of projects and templates.
The features of this release are:

* Live capture and analysis from DV camcorders
* Added vp8 and webm support.
* Added 'and' and 'or' filter to the tags' filter
* Video editor keeps the aspect ratio of exported files
* Allow multideletion of projects and templates

LongoMatch 0.15.7 released!

We are happy to announce the release of LongoMatch 0.15.7!
This release is the precursor of the long awaited live analysis support.
A new project type has been added to do live analysis, simulating a capture
device, which allows to work in real time as long as the game is captured using a different device/program.
A new tagging mode has been added to mark plays setting the start and stop time manually, and
the usability has also been improved adding more shortcuts to the video player and many tooltips.
The features of this release are:

* Live analysis support with a fake capture device.
* New tagging mode, to mark plays forcing manually the start and stop time instead of using the default values.
* Keys bindings for the media player.
* Added tooltips to many widgets
* Added Norwegian translation.

This announce the fifth release of the 0.15.x series.
This version comes with new exiting features like soft tagging,
which brings even more precission to the analysis, and the ability
to share projects with different computers. The user experience has
been also improved and working with LongoMatch is now much easier

* Plays are now sortable by name, start time, stop time and duration.
* Plays have a new way to be indexed using extra tags.
* A new tab has been added to display plays filtered by tags.
* Tagging Hotkeys can use a unique key instead of and Alt or Shift combination.
