EncodeHD is a an application to re-encode all types of video files for use on your home media player or on-the-go device. It aims to provide a simple interface with no fuss. Outputted video is MPEG4 and H.264 with AAC (or AC3) audio. Frontend/GUI for ffmpeg. Requires .NET 2.0 framework.

Easy to use. Did the job just fine. Could have used a few bells and whistles, but this is a free tool, so I'm grateful for all that it does have.

Great tool! Easy and gets the job done. Batch conversion available. Has replaced Xvid4PSP for my MKV -> iPod conversions.

I tried this using an mpeg file (2.2 GB). It took 2.5 hours to produce an MP4 file (size 110MB). Tried to play this with NERO Showtime (also PowerDVD). No video. I can hear the Audio.
