	Beyond the fact that I couldn't get this product to work right (parts of it crashed and the editor produced files that Vegas could not import), the license agreement is weird. It prohibits commercial use of their product (it says, "solely for your personal, nonexclusive and noncommercial usage") unless you buy an "additional license" of which there is no mention on the web site. Also, they feel that they can dictate to you how many monitors are on your computer (which is silly and probably unenforceable). It says, "on one (1) computer and maximum two (2) screens, attached to the computer the Elecard’s Software is installed on". On top of all that, the product offers only free upgrades for minor version changes. Major versions, it says, will cost extra. Since they are charging $40 to $99 for what is marked BETA software, the upgrades could be significantly more. Buyer beware. Posted June 17, 2009 by Ominus. 	I was looking for a tool that could accurately edit the movies I captured from my Hauppage HD PVR. The idea is to remove the commercials on movies I captured. The HD PVR captures HD programs in the HDAVC/H264 format. H264TSCutter is okay, but the frames are a little off by as much as 2 seconds and sometimes it messes up the video for several seconds. There are plenty of acceptable MPEG2 cutters, but that would require re-encoding and then hope the quality is as good. So I tried this. It did not work on Hauppage HD PVR programs. Granted, the input source is 1080i and not 1080p and FPS is 29.97 and not 25 or 30 FPS. Still, it says AVCHD editor and it couldn't accept all AVCHD formats. Hopefully the editors will fix that bug because the program itself has great potential. Posted June 12, 2009 by DiscoVinny.
