This is the most easy way to backup a DVD-movie. The quality of the backup is exactly the same as the original(at least to my eyes). I strongly recommend it.

As a long-term user of this fantastic user-friendly software, i can only say to all that even try to backup a DVD with another software, that you're in the wrong path, or in another words, in "the dark side of the force". If you can try DVDREasy you'll find that a DVD is just as simple as two DVD's, same quality, with an easy touch on the mouse. Many Thanks to the developer, for the brilliant idea to build DVDREasy. Don't leave your desk and continue to increase the credibility of your program. T

Have tried this tool on 2 movies so far and am very pleased with the results. Using the free HC encoder. Output quality is excellent. Takes a while though - over 7 hours...but then again, my CPU is pretty slow (AMD 1800+).

Very Good Backup Program. Easy to use, I Used CCE Encoder to backup a copy of The Others. Worked very well I'm running Windows XP sevice pack 2,with AMD 2800 processor 1 gig memory, 250 gig hard drive. Keep up the good work, looking forward to updates. You made an excellent program on par with DVD Rebuilder.Thank You again. By the way it's Free

Most software problems are caused by a bad configured setup and someone 60 cm away from the screen.;) For large movies, you can't compare DvdShrink with DVDREasy.... Shrink is a transcoder,DVDREasy uses encoders,if people don't see the quality difference between both projects, they need an optometrist... Version 0.5.8 is able to use the new,but already famous HC Encoder, which means that you can run the program as totally freeware package now...and although there were some bugs in the past, the developer is eager to fix them as soon someone can point him to it....

This prog is just a waste of time, useless with unsure results therefore is a violation to compare it with DVD Shrink (I mean the real FREEWARE DVD Shrink not the fake one commercial Easy DVD Shrink). DVD Shrink takes less than half the time to end always with perfect results even if you have to activate both the Quality Settings in case when compression goes below 80% of the original. This one, takes hours and hours just to end with a runtime error! I guess amateurs must first learn good programming, then fully test their prog in real world and then come to the scene and claim that they have a good piece of prog that worths to be compared with others. A last word. I really don't get the meaning of using the out of time full of bugs Bitrate View which in most of the cases gives out the runtime error!

Just tried this powerful tool and it returns a fantastic image quality. I was using DVD Shrink and the result of the backup had a very poor image quality. With this tool is great... Keep up the good work!

Simply the best tool for movie only backup's in the net. The quality of the backup movies is impressive !

This version fixes all earlier "runtime" problems I had. It's the easiest movie-only dvd backup program I know and the output quality is outstanding, especially for large movies. Highly recommended.

I really recommend this software for movie-only backups. It works great and has a superb image quality and ease-of-use. I tried it in about 20 movies and worked perfectly

One of the simplest and easiest movie only encoders using CCE. If no encoding needed, it simply authors it. Has worked 100% for me. CM

Sure seemed like it would be a great 'Movie Only' tool. But no real help and I also got a Run time error '5' right after decrypting. It's also unclear as to which bitrate viewer they want you to install.

Got a runtime error. The program never even got to cce.
