	Tools for converting DV type: -"Enosoft AVI repair tool", a tool included with "Enosoft DV Processor" -->works at 100% -Ulead DV Type 1 to DV Type 2 Converter --> if the files are big (>4 GB) audio gets corrupted with "shshshshsh" sound. -Canopus_DV_File_Converter V1.0.2 --> if the files are big (>4 GB) aborts before ending. -DVDATE V7.1 --> works OK but downsamples audio to 32000Hz. 	WARNING! Apparently this tool will only work properly for files less than 4GB in size. deoxymoron noted an audio problem "near the end of the file";apparently the problem is a 4GB file size problem. Following the 4GB mark (approximately 18:52 at full D1 resolution for me) the audio turns to hash (a loud hiss). This happens with no warning or errors generated, so you will think all is OK. If you only listen to the first few minutes of the converted AVI, you will think all is OK. If you are working with small files, it works fine, but be warned! This bit me on several large captures. 	This is a very usefull tool for converting those movie maker files into a format usable by virtualdub. 	A good simple program. Does what it's supposed to quickly and easily. The only gripe is that it doesn't let you specify file name, just output directory. Posted August 09, 2003 by vitualis.
