DGAVCDec |
DGAVCDec is a AVC/H.264 Decoder and frame Server. DGAVCDec works like DGMPGDec, first you index your AVC/H.264 elementary (raw) or transport stream using DGAVCIndex and then you make an Avisynth script to frame serve the video. The DGDecNV version is similar to DGAVCDec but it uses your Nvidia card to decode AVC and VC1 video much faster using CUDA video decoding. Buy DGDecNV here and Buy DGVC1DecNV here.

I use DGAVCIndex to cap individual frames from my Hauppauge-generated H.264 ts files. The enhancements made in build 35 make this a snap! The author supports this program well and is quick to make reliable enhancements. Much better support than with most fee-based products. I can't wait to see what new features will emerge!

This latest version is much better at handling AVCHD footage from Panasonic and Canon, at least the ones I tested it with. You'll get an error as soon as you import. Click to ignore errors and it then works OK............

This is an excellent idea, but it still needs to be developed more. It doesn't have support for AVCHD files from AVCHD cameras yet. That will greatly increase this programs usefulness when support is implemented. For now it's still easier to use "DirectShowSource" for those files. It works fine on demuxed h.264 streams though. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to new versions.
