CooJah |
CooJah 6 is an upgrade version based on URLCapturer V5.0. It provides functionality of both sniff and download. It can sniff out all network resources which your computer is requesting. These resources include audios, videos, images, flashes etc. Its exclusive functionality of sniffing whole request header and whole response header can make it much more powerful on network resource downloading and real network resource type identification than any other similar software. It completely supports downloading all FLV videos, RTMP/RTMPE streams, Music including background music of all websites. The slogan of CooJah is: Whatever you see, you listen, I can get it download. CHINESE installation but english setting available in program.

Works fine...And does its stuff.. If you have the newset version of Adobe flash player it won't work. I think Adobe have blocked some backdoors in there newest version. So if CooJah works for you DO NOT UPGRADE your adobe flashplayer. CooJah show adds from google like many other webpages. So no adware. stars...

I couldn't get CooJah to download videos from any of the troublesome sites I visit. The Coojah slogan is just an empty promise, and false advertising. Speaking of which, why is Coojah listed as freeware when it's actually ADWARE. There's a huge banner ad space right below the toolbar.

I am basically going to second the comments of vidalien. Just installed this and used it for the first time. You can't read the installer wizard screens, in whatever language that's supposed to be, but if you've installed your fair share of Win app.s, you can guess your way through it. Although I had pre-printed out close to 20 pages of Help screens or on-the-web instructions (there are apparently also tutorial videos you can view or d/l), I haven't much referred to them so far, just continued to guess my way forward. In pretty short order, I succeeded in grabbing first one, then three, and then four videos that had long evaded everything I could throw at them. (Most recently, the disappointing XVST.) Small sample, I know, but I'm already impressed. This is going straight to the top of my list for those toughies that laugh off Orbit etc. Maybe that earlier version of Replay -- before it was deliberately crippled -- could do this also, but my suspicion is that Coojah is more up to date. Do note that this needs to be used in tandem with Blader. Also that you need to list those app.s you want them to work with: only IE (ugh !) comes enabled by default. I added Firefox and WMP to that list right away. Have Coojah and Blader running when you go elusive-video hunting. They're not as easy to use as Orbit, but now I feel ready for future challenges.

If you can get past the chinese installer, and have the patience of figuring out the interface, this is a pretty awsome tool (along with its add on tool called Blader) for downloading tough to catch videos. I desperately wanted to download a video from the website that had succesfully dodged many many of the download tools I tried including replay av. Only riptiger and Coo Jah could ferret the video out. While Riptiger costs you a bomb, Coo Jah is freeware. And it is superfast. 92 MB video in 3 minutes. Wish the developer finds somebody to help him with the english interface of the installer.
