	Version history: * June 17, 2008 - Version 9.20 (Build 132.2) - UNICODE only version - Delayed snap feature fully rewritten and enhanced - possibly supports more video capture devices - removed UAC prompt in Vista - fixed: STI registration was creating duplicate incomplete Registry keys (use sticlean.exe to remove all invalid keys from the Registry) - fixed: OSD color changes were not applied - fixed: TV programs with blank names were not loaded - fixed copy of still images to the clipboard - added YUV mode if deinterlacing is available - added overlay feature to put a logo on-screen, to use a picture as comparator, etc. - added support for additional video renderers (including custom video renderer) - added the /vdevice parameter to override the video capture source specified in the .ini file - added AutoPlay registration to installation so that AMCap is listed when a video capture source is plugged in - added "Maintain Aspect Ratio" Window menu option. 	That's wierd. I have been using it for quite some time capturing a 1/2 hour show every weekend and never had that pop-up asking for money. In fact it's a very good capture tool for me, simple to use and no problems operating it. Only wish it had the ability to use huffyuv compression during the capture. Posted April 09, 2006 by edg. 	I lost a one time opportunity to capture a tv show because the creator of AMCap did not tell upfront that the program will run for only 20 minutes after which he would ask for a donation. Had I been informed beforehand that AMCap will run for only 20 minutes I could have used another capture software. This "freeware" program will run for only 20 minutes after which it will stop capturing and a pop-up window will appear that says; ------------------------- Your support is needed Thank you for trying my customized version of AMCap I spent a lot of hours of research and development to implement the numerous features that I was requested and to make what AMCap is today. Unfortunately as a freelance software engineer, I cannot live with just freeware and I definitely need your support to earn my living and to keep working on those projects. 	This is an excellent capture utility. I use with my ATI WONDER VE tuner card although the program was designed for hauppage cards. I get no dropped frames even while encoding another file using TMPGEnc at the same time as capture. Although you can't use compression while capturing the program does quite well using yuy2 format. Also this program worked when VirtualDub wouldn't. Posted October 25, 2003 by big_jit.
