The most of the time it's been observed that if any free tool receives a good comments, author or developers of that particular softwares starts paying more attention to diggin users information rather than concentrating on improvements of the softwares.
This diversion of focus results in series of buggy releases.
This is a comment in general, not aimed to this or any particular software.
I'm sure part of this may be "cockpit error." Tried installer and portable versions under Windows 7 x64 ultimate and can't seem to get it to run error free. Can't get it to update or save the "settings.ini" file, then there's the email issue because I have no email account setup on the computer and won't have one, and finally there's the "access violation" for Vconverter.exe at which point I gave up.
nice video converter, worth trying it for FREE!
thanks to the developers gave nice options for FFmpeg and Mencoder.
To The Developers:
Please try to add MKV container and x264 encoder along with FFmpeg and Mencoder.
