This is a competent audio converting suite, but lacks one vital thing-a sound normalizing option, but you can aacGain, if your output is mp4a, however if you output ac-3 using AoA your audio track will be low volume and have no gain. I use Fairstars Audio Converting Pro which includes a normalizer and is better for this need.

Still useful with some of its features and it is a solid encoder, but not worth the money as it hasn't been updated in 5 years, though it shows 2.3.8 on its site which is identical to previous version 2.3.7, unless it updated some files for Win10 compatibility?
I used to use it to convert to ac-3, but I abandoned that as it doesn't normalize the audio when outputting as far as I know. The free version can't output to aac only wave or mp3 I think.

Version 2.1 is the nag-free freeware version. It works fine and processes fast, but only supports the most 'basic' features. You'll need a different tool for cropping, leveling, etc. I use it often to make WAV or MP3 from MP4 because it's so easy.
Version 2.25 will tease you with platinum and newest version will try to install junkware.

Useful tool, although try and get a previous version, as the old releases were the best. All you had to do was wait a 5 second countdown, and then you could use all of its functions. Basic and clean design, although I'm not sure about the newer versions.
