It captures game play and it does it well. Very easy to use. A great piece of software.

if you look around you wont find a better game cap program. very high quality video with very little strain on the system. includes other features such as screen cap and a benchmark tool for your fps. awesome program, highly recomend. btw i own the full version which seems to work better than the trial version.

I used this for FFXI a little over a year ago...it works as intended, although it will cause some chopiness when capturing video, unless you're on a very high-end machine. :)
