Converting .flac to .aiff - retaining file name

FWIW - here's what I'm finding. Any file name containing a . (dot), as in 01.name.flac ...... everything after the first dot is truncated, becoming 01.aiff.

If you delete the first dot then you get 01name.aiff. Apparently Macflac does not play well with multiple .'s :)

Removing Vocals in an MP3 file

Beware of using MP3 as the source. Phase cancelling the center channel of an MP3 will show off all the compression artifacts. Use a WAV or CD source, if you can.

I'll try that other way if the output is still wrong.

(I guess I should have set some lower bitrate, it's incredibly slow  )
