I would not suggest you make a photo album this way. It converts the high resolution images to low quality, low resolution mpeg-1 video just so you can have transition effects and music.
Use Nero, select the VCD template and drag all your jpg photos over and burn. You get high quality, high resolutions stills on your TV from your DVD player.

WinOnCD PE has a great option to automatically fit the number of slides to the length of the selected background music. This feature eliminate the need to spend time adjusting the number of photos and transition interval to spread over the music, as the intervals we may choose are in 1 seconds intervals, and we are unable to select half-seconds or even 0.1 (for example 4.5 or 5.5 seconds etc).
This is true for DVD Pictureshow and PictureToTv. I dun think diz new Photo2VCD is going to be any different huh...?
Thks.

Just tested the standard trial version. This is my comment:
(1) The video quality of DVD format MPG2 720x480 is horrible
Comment: do not release a video software for money before really knowing MPG2, since no body here is stupid.
(2) Can not set the image display time to fit the background music
Comment: do not release a software before knowing what the software should be.
(3) Nothing (expect there is a DVD MPG2 option) is better than PictureToTV, which I personally think is very good to creat a VCD picture show with fancy trasitions.
Comment: do not release a software before knowing your competitors' product.
Final comment: do not release a software like this.

I am not any software developer at all. I am a mechanical engineer who likes to make home video and home photo (S)VCDs. And I am also a nice person to tell the truth to the people. I hate the guy who tried to mislead the readers, so this why I stood up here.
