| its just i been messing around in tmpgenc 3 and wmv is good cos u can do a 720x576 video in 4:3 aspect ratio AND do it interlaced only using a low bitrate and still having good quailty video. i can watch them on pc but it'd be great watching them on tv |

| The DVP642 does play some asf/wmv files, but I haven't specifically tested wmv9 files. |
