Vobsub on external drive

Hi, I am using an external drive to put all my DivX movies on with their (srt) subtitle files. Normally when I play a movie from a pc no problem. However when I play a movie from the external drive i do not get subtitles. Vobsub does not seem to pick it up from the external drive. Any ideas on how to overcome this? My apoligies if this question has already been asked/answered before. Cheers, HTM

What player are you using? I use VLC for subbed videos most times and it always picks up the subs from my network drives. But I haven't used VOBSub for a while. Maybe a configuration setting? And welcome to our forums. :)
