Unable to launch version 2.5

Have installed version 2.5 buils 3600, installs and registers OK. Places a shortcut icon on the desktop. When I double click his the application does not launch, any ideas.

Any warnings, splash screen, etc.? Can you open it from the .exe in the install folder? Any recent system/OS changes?

No warnings. Sometimes white splash screen appears for about 1 minute. Cannot open it from the .exe file in the install folder No recent OS upgrades.

Have tried several reinstalls. Would lik to do a system clean install. How do I remove all traces of SVCD2DVD fom my machine. I can then attempt a complete clean reinstall.

Add Remove programs should do the job. However from what you say in your emails - May i suggest uninstalling .Net 2.0 and reinstalling that with all the updates (from Microsoft Updates).... I think your .Net framework maybe corrupt and causing this.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled dotnet 2. Still the same, get the splash screen but application does not launch.

Have give up with this. Will wait for a new version to be released. May have better luck.
