Tevion TDR930 DVD Recorder Problem |

| I have Tevion TDR930 DVD Recorder, a TEAC MV-6094 VCR & a Digitech AR-1822 Video Enhancer & Stabilizer. When I try to record Copy Protected & non CP tapes on the TDR930, the picture colour fades in & out, going from full colour to almost no colour at all. I've tried 2 other VCRs - no change. Have cleaned the heads - no change. Have bought other copies of my tapes- no change. Even stuff I taped off TV 10-15 years ago has the same problem.
When the VCR is connected to the TV the tapes come up fine. I've made sure that I've connected everything correctly. Is the VCR the problem? Or the TDR930? Or the AR-1822? Or all 3? Please HELP :? |

| Sounds like typical MacroVision, which typically goes from normal color/brightness...fades to black...brightens back to normal. Although I don't know why that would be an issue if you are using a video stabilizer. |

| Stabilizers can fail up time half of the time -- they're not TBCs! |

| Dubbing copyright protected vhs to dvd
You need the device some times called Video Enhancer (SIMA-CT-2) to be connected between your VHS output and your DVD Recoredr Input. That would remove the VHS protection and prevented passing on through your DVD Recorder i have SIMA ct-2 wick i got from usa it works a charm. you can get one from dick smith Australia i have sean them in ringwood store in melbourn thay have different a name i dont know if thay still have them if you need more help you can e me. i live in Boronia melbourn |
