Synchronizing a subtitle

[ss]vegeta posted 2009 Oct 21 16:58
Hello
I want to re-sync a subtitle. I'll show in an example.
Check the attached subtitle.
What I want is, every timeline to be 2.5secs slower
e.q the first line 00:00:00,843 --> 00:00:02,709
i want it to be 00:00:02,343 --> 00:00:05,209
and so on and so on
is this possible?
what program should I use and how do I do it?

I've tried using the subtitle editors in KMPlayer and GomPlayer but they seem to save the subtitle in some weird format like SMI or something.
